Can YOU help?

Christian is getting his eagle project well underway. He is collecting items for orphans in Afghanistan. These just need to be gently used or new items. (please no used soap)
Here are some acceptable donations that they need:

• school items...sometimes there is only 1 pen per family and the child who is going to school gets that
• hygiene items
• clothes...any size
• shoes any size
• soccer balls...I'd LOVE to send them tons of these. They fight over who gets these.
• blankets
• things for mothers...kitchen items...anything that a mom would love to have
• advil and tylenol in sealed containers

We are collecting on Saturday September 11 from 9-12 in the morning. If you have some items you'd like donated let him know and we'll make an "appt." to pick them up.

If you'd like to help sort through these items and put them in boxes, we'll be doing that on September 15 probably around 7:15 p.m. during scouts at our church.

P.S. We'll need lots of boxes too!
