Dear Neighbors,

Here is an up-close and personal view of Christian's friend that he's been draggin around the neighborhood. At church on Sunday we had a couple people come up and ask "who's this girl that Christian's been hanging around with? She's cute!" We told Christian to introduce her from now on.

Sure is nice to have another girl around here.

Catching up...Nationals Novice Latin 5th place

Jens and Michelle competed Novice latin and got 5th place out of 82 couples. After the first couple rounds I went back behind stage to take a couple pictures and to tell Jens to step it up. Some other guy (younger than Jens and not as talented) was dancing better than Jens. I should've been doing that all along. The next couple rounds were amazing and they just kept getting called back to the next round. Michelle taught Jens her class routines in samba and rumba in January, nationals was in March.

Here is the rumba. Everyone dances so much better when it's a song that you recognize from the radio. When each group goes off to wait their turn in the "wings" you can see them all singing this song. Bleeding Love. It's kinda funny. Michelle was especially funny singing to Jens, wish I would have gotten that one on camera. But fun to see them liking to dance to the song.
