Tashakkur!

This is the whole panaromic view of our cultural hall.
Garrett, Brian, Traci, Jessica, Curtis, Tyler, Blaze
Megan sorting little girls' clothing...doesn't this look overwhelming to you?!...and it's only half of the room.

A great big thank you (in Afghan) to all those that helped with Christian's eagle project. Yah!!! the physical part is done and boy was it hard. I don't think I've ever seen a project in the amount that was donated. It was so amazing to see all the donations. The soldier in our ward who Christian wanted to send all these items to, his daughter Juleea donated all her yw project school kits to his project too (which was over 75 kits) Just overwhelming amount of generosity!
We had a ton (I'm not even exaggerating) of clothes mostly kids clothing, school supplies, blankets, toys, soccer balls (even my good friend from Texas sent some new soccer balls to add to the donations!!, that was so fun) Thanks Lindsay!!, hygiene supplies, mens, womens clothing, and boxes (thanks Nate) to ship them in. Oh yeah and a little bit of time donated by my great friends here. I can't believe what great friends I have! I am so grateful!!
Christian did so great at being a leader and carrying out the project. On that very last day, when we were packing all the boxes, the youth and leaders in our ward helped out tremendously.
At one point, it seemed so overwhelming that I thought, let's just pack a couple of these boxes up and take everything else to DI. I'm so glad I listened to my friend...it's just the boost I needed. You are going to want to read her story of helping us out too. Then...
Kristina (she has a 15 passenger van) also drove all 114 (well, we had 14 of those boxes in our van, don't want you think we didn't do our share....hahahahaha) boxes up to Salt Lake where we dropped them off at the shipping company that delivered these free. We had 5 pallet fulls of 5-6' of boxes on them.
Thanks again to all those that helped out! Kristina, Heather, Heidi, Kamarie and all the youth.Use that broken hip Christian!!

Here is my sweet friend... Emmy and his mom. "We are not put in circles of friendship by coincidence but by Divine Design"...Neal A Maxwell

Now on to the hard part, getting all the signatures and finishing the paperwork...

WOW. That is the most amazing project ever for an Eagle Scout I have seen ... and I have seen and helped in quite a few of them!

Congrats to you all! Wish I was there to help.

That was an awesome project - both in the idea and in the size! It was also an amazing amount of fun!

(and thanks... you are a sweetie!)

This reminds me of when the boys did their project to aid Katrina victims. The amount was overwhelming and I was moved to tears on many occasions at the generosity of others.

I am so glad when I see our youth think outside of their own city for Eagle and YW projects. The impact on their lives is huge.

Congrats on your success.
