I don't usually get things...and it's ok. This year I got some cool bowls, and pots and pans...I LOVE the color and the speckled design of the porcelain exterior...oh yeah and treadmill...which I wanted...it just happened to arrive around mother's day...
BUT the best present of all was....tada....
talking to my boys. We got to skype with Jensen and Christian called for 150 pesos and we talked for "awhile". Everything is on hold for that day until they call. It's just the way it is.

Your son is serving in Ames in our ward and we love Elder Smith!! We moved here 2 years ago from Farmington UT. My husband teaches at Iowa State in the Accounting Dept. We have 5 daughters and one son- ages 16-7. Missionaries come and go and we love having them over to our home as often as possible- but we really love having your son here. He has taught us dance moves, beat us in ping pong, shared with me your yummy Costa Vida recipe, made us laugh, showed us some ballroom dance videos (WOW), shared spiritual thoughts and object lessons that are so creative and sweet and always left our home with his happy/sweet influence felt here. Thanks for raising such an amazing son who's influence has and will leave a lasting impression in our family!!

Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad that he shared all those things with you. Thank you for sharing that with us. It is one of the best things we have heard! My husband said..."oh my gosh, made my week...love it!" We only hear from him, it is nice to see him from a different perspective.
